Can you help me pay my rent, utilities, or help me with food?

I have an unplanned pregnancy and need help
What does the church teach about “unwanted” or “unplanned” pregnancy?
The Catholic Church teaches that all human life is sacred, from conception until natural death. This means that any embryo or fetus, no matter how small or large, no matter the time since conception, whether planned or unplanned, even if the child is the result of rape or incest, MUST NOT be aborted and must be carried to term. God is the author of life and we do not get to decide who gets to be born and who does not.
The role of the church in all circumstances of pregnancy is to provide the spiritual, psychological and material needs for both the mother and the unborn infant.
Who can I turn to for support and help with my pregnancy?
One of the ministries at St. Michael’s, the Gabriel Project, has as its mission the support of mothers and their unborn children. Confidentiality is completely respected, and referral can be made to church and community resources for of help. See our Gabriel Project ministry page.
