This process fits those adults who are already Catholic and need only Confirmation. Other adults, including those who were not baptized in the Catholic Church or who also need to receive First Communion, can join our Adult Christian Initiation Program.
Adult Confirmation begins with an initial discussion between you and a team member so that we can understand where you are on your journey, and then kicks off with a Saturday retreat, followed by weekly sessions on Thursday nights that cover the basics of the Catholic faith.
Adult Confirmation climaxes with the bishop administering the Sacrament of Confirmation at a special Mass at a nearby parish. The formation normally begins in September and leads up to Confirmation on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord in early January.
