Purpose

The Altar Society, also known as The Society of St. Martha, is a group of laypersons who maintain the ceremonial objects used in worship. This ministry provides a quiet, prayerful, behind the scenes opportunity to provide service to God. Teams clean the sacred vessels and set up for Sunday mass. Individuals care for the small altar linens used during mass.
 

Ministry Opportunities

We welcome any adults or young adults to join any aspect of the Altar Society. We need to add to our volunteer staff. Training is provided.
