Purpose

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion have the special privilege of assisting the clergy in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass.  Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion also serve God's people by bringing the Eucharist to the hospitalized, the shut-ins and those living in nursing homes.

Meets

Ministers are scheduled to serve approx. once/month via quarterly schedule. Training is provided for new ministers when needed, and periodically for those actively serving in the ministry. (Watch bulletin & website for announcements.)
